The new HTC Bolt was officially introduced by the manufacturer. The handset is built for the Sprint’s LTE Plus network as it supports the 3X20 carrier aggregation that allows for zippy data speeds. Also helping the smartphone become the fastest available in Sprint’s lineup is the Snapdragon X10 LTE modem employed by the Bolt. Sprint is calling the HTC Bolt: Sprint’s fastest phone ever. Hence the endorsement of the Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man.
HTC Bolt Smartphone Display:
The HTC Bolt has a large 5.5-inch screen and its design is very derivative of the HTC 10, down to the beveled edge on back, and even with same color finishes: Gunmetal and Glacial Silver (The HTC 10’s was called Graphite, not Gunmetal). The HTC Bolt is actually the first water resistant Android phone to be sculpted out of the material. It also has an IP57 certification rating to protect it from spills, rain and an accidental submersion to no more than 3.2 feet for up to 30 min. It carries a Gorilla Glass 5 protected 5.5-inch Super LCD-3 display along with a 1440 x 2560 resolution.

Android 7.0 is pre-installed along with HTC’s Sense UI. The new HTC Bolt supports Cat.9 LTE which means that it can handle speeds of 450Mbps down and 50Mbps up. With the Android Nougat installed, the new HTC Bolt offers free unlimited photo storage with Google Photos, video calling app Google Duo is pre-loaded.

The 16MP rear camera features PDAF laser focusing, and aperture weighs in at f/2.0. And yes, OIS is also included. 4K video is available with Hi-Res audio, and there’s support for the RAW format. The front-facing 8MP camera takes selfies and handles video chats.

The 3200mAh battery keeps the lights on and works with Quick Charge 2.0 for the rapid recharges. A Power Savings Mode and Extreme Power Savings Mode allow users to extend the life of the cell. Also USB 2.0 Type-C port is included and NFC is supported.
