Gigabyte Has Unveiled Yet Another Geforce GTX 1080 Graphics Card

Gigabyte just popped the lid off of its newest creation, the GeForce GTX1080 Turbo OC Edition Graphics card, which will feature new WindForce Turbo Fan, Gigabyte’s version of a blower-style cooler with special shroud. Although no details on worldwide pricing or availability has been released as yet by GIGABYTE.

Despite using a blower-style cooler, Gigabyte still included a decent factory-overclock, and pushing the GPU to 1657MHz for the GPU base, 1797MHz for the GPU Boost clocks in OC mode and 1632MHZ base, 1772MHz GPU Boost clocks in Gaming mode. It still comes with 8GB of GDDR5X memory clocked at 10GHz.

GeForce GTX1080 Turbo OC Edition

The graphics card is equipped with a heatsink features three 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes. Which provide direct contact with GPU die as well as sporting an aluminium plate that draws heat from the memory and VRM and draws power from a single eight-pin PCIe power connector.

This is a 2 PCI-E slot GPU so it is easy to install too. With all this power, you get the ease of the installation out of the box which is very convenient indeed. This GPU has 8+2 power phases. For the display output, you have Dual-link DVI-D x1, HDMI-2.0b x1 and Display Port-1.4 x3 at your disposal.
